CWG Protégé Programme
Launched in 2006, the Protégé Programme gives aspirant winemakers the rare opportunity of working side by side with members of the Guild, all masters of their craft, during a three-year internship.
By cultivating, nurturing and empowering promising individuals to become winemakers and viticulturists of excellence, the Cape Winemakers Guild Protégé Programme plays an active role in the transformation of the industry to ensure its long term health and sustainability.

MAD - Make A Difference
Founded in 2003 by Francois Pienaar, Make A Difference Leadership Foundation (MAD Leadership Foundation) focuses on leadership development through education.
They offer education, support, leadership and life-skills development to academically talented scholars who do not have the necessary financial resources, none of which would be possible without the extraordinary commitment and generosity of our corporate and private sponsors.

Pebbles Project
The main emphasis of the Pebbles Project is education. We work with children and families in the Winelands farming communities in the Western Cape. We focus on the entire life of the child and the challenging circumstances in which they live in order to make a significant and lasting difference. Since our inception in 2004, we have impacted the lives of children and their families in areas of education as well as nutrition, health, community and protection.
Faith
Foetal Alcohol-Syndrome & Interrelated Treatment Help
Pregnant women who drink do not intentionally harm their unborn babies. In most cases, they simply do not know about FASD or fully understand the risks. They may have been given incorrect information about alcohol and pregnancy from family, friends or health care providers. Through the Beyers Truter Faith Fund we expect to generate enough capital to implement programs to address these issues.
